It's Saturday morning and I am enjoying a nice cup of hot tea. Deep thoughts? No...just would like to share with you this morning. Whether the thoughts are deep...I'll leave that to the reader to decide. Lol! I woke up with this idea in my head...and I'll try to "throw it down" for you, as I rub the sleep out of my eyes! :) I seem to get questions about energy work in waves. For a few weeks, it will seem as though my energy is attracting so many others that are in search of their healing path. Then...it will drop off for a bit. Lately I have had chance meetings with so many that are invested in their own personal healing and who also wish to help others. This is a time of great beauty. I rather enjoy this part of the wave. It's a chance to give and to receive knowledge, to lift each other up in support, love and in sharing. It is during this part of the "wave" that I begin to get questions about what kind of energy work I do...or what I do in general. It never is a simple thing to answer. I mean, the more open you become, the more that you are capable of receiving. I do self-healing and personal work every day. I am a trained Reiki Master, a crystal healer and I am blessed to have the gift of sight and clairaudience. There is always so much more. With each day of searching there is growth and therefor constant downloads of new information. Each day hold the promise of new growth. This is when sharing becomes fun. We are all unique in the gifts that we possess. I have a sharing network of like minded peers that I am lucky enough to be a part of. It's interesting, the more that you open up to the unknown (or, unconsciously known!) your life changes for the higher good. It is during this change that having a sharing and supportive network is a real life saver. Moving into your authenticity becomes the game changer. As your vibration changes, an inevitable outcome with so much personal work, what you attract and repel will change as well. It's the law of attraction. Like attracts like. (For more on this see my post on Fifth chakra). Most of us who find ourselves on this healing path, are first attracted to healing our own pain. Each one of us has a pain body in need of attention and unconditional love. As challenging as it is to move through your own pain and work through the process of peeling back layer after layer of that onion skin...it is completely worth it. What moved me to become a Reiki Master was the knowledge that I could help others to heal themselves. The tips and tricks that I continue to learn along my own path I share with those that come to me for sessions, to those that ask in passing or who attend my classes. We all have this gift and it is available to all. You just have to figure out which modality resonates with you best and to tap into that! Each one of us should be empowered and awakened to our own ability to heal. In all honesty, there are a few lackluster sides to helping others find their way. Your time is not always taken seriously. There are people who will cancel at the last minute or who will arrive late....and sometimes very late. Or perhaps they show interest in a class that you must order material for and just never get back to you about it. All are frustrating to deal with and can become costly but it happens. It's also disappointing because a lot of time, effort and preparation goes into each healing session and each class. I always remind myself that when dealing with the pain body, incidents like this are destined to happen. (Also in reaching out to my network of like minded peers...its a pretty common occurrence, unfortunately). When someone is locked into their own pain, it distorts their vision of what they project onto others. They cannot see it. They are in the process of waking up. Their vision is still internalized. It doesn't excuse it...but for the practitioner, it does soften the situation with empathy. Personally, it becomes the reminder of why I chose to do this work in the first place. It makes me want to try harder, to open my heart wider and send out even more love and light. Also, it is a reminder to the practitioner that boundaries are perhaps needed. That love should extend to the worker as well. Love and light to all of you on your higher path wherever it takes you. xo If anyone would like to get in touch...find me on facebook! :) Healing Energy - Painted Chakras and Stairways.

I wish to provide some basic information on each of the chakras. I will eventually cover all of them...so stay tuned! A lot can be said about each of the chakras, so I will keep it brief! If anyone has a question or if you would like for me to cover something specific, please message me or comment below! (Please refer to previous posts for first, second, third and fourth chakras). The Fifth Chakra: The fifth chakra (throat center, cervical center, visshudha) is located at the base of the neck. Fifth chakra awareness is nothing to scoff at. Most people operate with only the use of the lower first three chakras. This center is where a higher vibration, our spiritual awareness and connection to source energy are channelled into our physicality. Only when our mind is still and we are fully present are we open to this energy. When we reach this level of awareness it is a game changer. A burning desire rises within to communicate your awakened divine awareness to those around you. When your fifth chakra is open, you are naturally compelled to share your experiences with those closest to you. Unfortunately (or fortunately…as everything is perspective!), this is when a lot of us will begin to notice the falling away of friends. Remember that most people have lower chakra functionality only and they might be uncomfortable with this new you. However, as this new light in you shines, you begin to attract those that have a similar vibration. Your tribe changes as like attracts like. The throat chakra is represented by the colour blue. This colour has a particularly calming affect on the body. When we are calm, our breathing slows to a natural and soothing rhythm. In this state of relaxation our minds can be still and we are better able to access the divine flow. Blue is a colour that must be used in moderation. As with anything, too much can cause an excess of unwanted energy and should be used for only a select amount of time. The throat chakra reaches maturity in ones mid thirties to early forties. When in balance, we speak our personal truth and honour our authentic self. In strengthening this energy center, our capacity for spiritual growth is sped up and we are given a proverbial set of new eyes. We are aware more than ever of our purpose here and of what our personal offering to the world might be. We stand firmly in what, who and why we are. Upon reaching this level of awareness, struggles with substance abuse are not uncommon. Anything that isn’t healthful that passes through this part of the body will cause a physical communication breakdown between the chakras. Just as a healthy relationship between people requires open and clear communication to function healthfully, our energetic system has the same requirement. Smoking, drugs (recreational and or prescribed), alcohol and under/over indulgence in food will all inhibit the fifth chakra. When the throat chakra is in balance, a person will own their authentic space and will be able to communicate clearly and creatively. A balanced fifth chakra will allow a person to operate in all honesty, transparency and in absolute trust. They will possess the effortless ability to remain present, remain centered and to have the ability to access divine source energy. The ability to tap into a greater sexual energy will also be present. However, if the person chooses abstinence, this energy may be channelled elsewhere with great affect. Key words: Will, focus, communication, integrity, expression, freedom, authenticity. Qualities: Mastery of will, living a life of integrity, ability to maintain focus, open and clear communication. Element: Ether Stones: Angelite, aqua aura, azurite, blue lace agate, lapis lazuli, sodalite, , turquoise. Antidote: Red Love and light to all of you! The fourth chakra: The fourth chakra (heart center, dorsal center, anahatha) is located in the center of the chest. Its colour is green and is where empathy is primarily felt. When open and full, the limitations of ego are transcended and a more humanitarian connection to oneness is manifested. Some schools of thought also refer to the fourth chakra as being represented by the colour pink. Personally, I reserve pink for the higher heart, located just above the heart chakra. Only once the heart chakra has been healed (green) can we access the true power of the higher heart (pink). The heart chakra begins its true development and maturity between the ages of 28 and 35. During this time it is helpful to clean and clear. A balanced heart chakra will allow for love to be given and received without martyrdom, fear or feelings of unworthiness. A healthy heart will be open to innocence, purity and love in all its abundance. Key words: trust, faithfulness, harmony, kindness, love, innocence and purity. Qualities: open to give and to receive love. Element: air Stones: rose quartz, malachite, chrysocolla, ruby, jade, unakite, serpentine. Antidote: n/a Love and light to all of you! If anyone has a question or if you would like for me to cover something specific, please message me or comment below! (Please see previous posts for first and second chakras). The third chakra: The third chakra (lumbar center, solar plexus, manipuraka) is located below the breastbone. Envision this chakra as a beautiful, golden shining sun. This is our power center. Yellow is the colour of vibrancy and happiness. With a balanced solar chakra, a positive self image is present along with the ability to access your own natural talents. You will exude confidence without being an egoist. You are worthy and beautiful in your own delicious existence. In simple terms, you own your space. The solar center begins development at the age of 14 and reaches maturity at 21 years. Unconditional love for the self and for others resides here. Also the center of breath, the third chakra marks the center of the diaphragm. Deep breathing is essential to our natural flow of chi. While practising proper breathing, there is no tension, nor can there be fear. It is with deep cleansing breaths that we are better able to access the energy of this chakra. In balance, our power center connects with our divine will, thus creating the true beginning of our divine awareness. This is when we begin to march to the beat of our inner drum, making contributions to our spiritual community. Contributions that are unique to our own very unique spirit. After all, we are all so very unique! Key words: self-esteem, confidence, cheer, respect, expressive, relaxed. Qualities: personal power, know thy self, enjoy life, freedom of choice, choosing happiness. Element: fire. Stones: citrine, malachite, turquoise, amber, ametrine, golden calcite. Antidote: violet. If anyone has a question or if you would like for me to cover something specific, please message me or comment below! (See previous post for first chakra). The second chakra (sacral, svadisthana) is located 1 – 2 inches below the naval. Its colour is vibrant orange. (If however, you have elected to live a life of celibacy, this chakra may be referred to as the splenic chakra and will be bluish-green in colour. As its name indicates, it will also be located closer to the spleen rather than just below the naval). Orange is a combination of red (physical) and yellow (intellectual) making it the most social of colours. If in perfect balance, all of the following attributes are present in the sacral chakra: creativity, emotion, intuition, energy (chi), happiness and friendliness. The primary stage of development begins at the age of 7 and matures at the age of 14 years old. In a well-developed sacral chakra, healthy boundaries are created now and we learn that “we are enough”. We learn this balance by making time for pleasures while also making time for rest. This equilibrium is vital to our core health. When energy is not replenished our physicality is greatly affected and damage occurs on a cellular level. The key to this balance is to nourish what is depleted. Quite simply, make time for you. It is in this energy center that the connection between a healthy desire for sex and a healthy attitude towards sex is made. With this energy in equilibrium, sexual desire and spiritual desire are able to manifest a radiance that lights up the heart and then the soul. Key words: sexuality, pleasure, manifesting abundance, emotional balance, vitality. Qualities: creating healthy boundaries and knowing that you are enough. Element: water. Stones: moonstone (regular and rainbow), orange calcite, tigers eye, bloodstone. Antidote: indigo Love and light to all of you! If anyone has a question or if you would like for me to cover something specific, please message me or comment below! Let us begin with the 1st chakra: Red is the colour of passion, power and intensity. It is also the colour of the first chakra, also known as the 'base', root, kundalini center, or the Muldahara. It is located at the base of the spine, or the perineum. What determines a healthy root chakra? You are centered, grounded and you "own your space". Each of our chakras reaches maturity by a certain age. Our first chakra begins to develop at conception and is matured by the time you reach the age of 7. If you have been provided a solid base full of unconditional love, this chakra will be strong. Key words for the 1st chakra: foundation, support, stability, shelter. Element: Earth Colour: Red (antidote is blue for over-active) Crystals: Hematite, carnelian, jet, red jasper, mookite, smokey quartz, tiger iron. Love and light to all of you!
