Sometimes the most difficult thing to do is to step away from something that you had your heart set on. That heartfelt attachment, is just that, an attachment, no matter the disguise. For whatever reason, it became unhealthy and at some point, no longer served your highest good. Perhaps it was never meant to serve you at all. Or, perhaps it would become the catalyst to one of your biggest spiritual lessons to date? hmmm... Hopefully you didn't spent too much time directing your energy to the attachment, when your attention/intention would have been best served if directed lovingly at yourself. Attachment energy is a no-feel-good zone that you should walk away from. BUT...there is beauty in the lesson and time is never truly wasted as we turn inwards to heal. The lesson is in the attachment. We are here to learn and as I am certain that most of us are figuring out, the best lessons are usually the ones that we at first find painful. Not to say that we are all out to feel pain but that we are all essentially here to FEEL. Once that feeling is finally released we are inevitably lighter, centered and back on track. Beauty can and will always be found as we heal ourselves. If you have been led to read this, you most likely work on your three bodies; the physical, spiritual and mental/emotional. As such, I feel as though we all experience this tug of war, heart and mind, body and heart, spirit and body...you get it. None of us are impervious to healing lessons. I don't care if you are a beginner to healing and taking charge of your own energy, or if you are a Master of a healing modality. We are all here to experience, learn and to heal as a part of our individual evolution. This happens to each and every one of us. There is no weakness in admitting that. Experience is sometimes the best teacher and should be shared. This benefits not only the greater good, but that which connects us all together with source energy. We are all students and are here to learn from each other. We learn as we teach and we teach as we learn and do so in kindness. The lesson is in this pull. For every time that we are pulled in, we might have an equal amount of time where we pull back. If the lesson is incomplete, we will inevitably be pulled back again. This lesson is an internal tug of war. This battle that is meant to eventually create an equilibrium between the three bodies. When balance is restored we move on to the next lesson. So, how do we reclaim our energy? We must first face it. There are various healing and cleansing methods, all of which are helpful. The truth is however, until you are done with the energy and have learned in full, you will always be pulled back. You can do all of the cord cutting you wish. You can smudge yourself everyday and ten times a day. You can clean and clear yourself using Yoga and/ or Reiki. You can carry your satchel with herbs and or crystals. You can chant and draw down the Violet Flame. The simple truth is, until you have listened to and heard this lesson, danced with your ego around this truth, heeded the advice and released this energy...you will just be pulled back. The only way to reclaim your energy is to work through the energy. Find the source of the attachment and penetrate it. (More on this in another post). Own it. Own your power. Reclaim your energy. Why are these healing methods helpful then, if we are only to be pulled back? It's a process. Nothing is instantaneous. The lesson and our healing can be compared to an onion, with all of its many beautiful layers. By peeling back each layer, one by one, we may cry and hurt but something new is always revealed. Something new and vibrant and worthy of our attention. Worthy of our attention and calling it and directing it inwards. Through this attention inwards, we heal our three bodies. The healing methods that we choose to accompany us on this journey are to assist us in keeping us as much in balance in the most healthful of ways. Treat them as valued tools, as a sacred means to get from point A to point B, and be patient no matter how long it takes. This is the reality. There will always be a lesson. In fact, there will be many, many lessons. Thankfully there are also ways to help us heal our three bodies as we move through this energy. For everyone this process is different. I choose a combination of methods and it depends upon the situation. I practise daily self-healing with Reiki, meditation and crystals. However, I also use herbs, oils and essences, salt and other methods when the occasion calls for it. It truly depends upon the circumstance. Whatever you choose, it has to feel right for you in your heart and in that moment. The most important part being that you choose to move through the energy, that you choose to heal and that in doing so, you reclaim your energy and release the attachment. Time, perseverance and honest communication are all very healing teachers. When your heart is hurting, do your very best to remain open and communicate. Sometimes the first reflex is to shut down and not to talk about what hurts so much. Keep in mind that the heart is a gateway to the higher chakras! Keep that heart and the communication open and honest. Find trusted council and share this hurt to heal. I'm not suggesting that we should dwell in the lower vibration of this hurt. Instead find a way to rise above it. Even if it takes you umpteen-hundred attempts. You will eventually succeed. Try this as an exercise: Write down what is hurting you. Then burn it. (Safely!) Release it. Repeat the process as needed. With each repeated version of your script, you may notice that you feel inclined to change the wording. Do so. Do it until the energy wears itself out and the energy is finally released. As you burn each paper, you can chant and burn incense. Do it however you feel guided to. Maybe try to do this once or twice a week in combination with other healing practises. (If you are already meditating daily and practicing yoga- add this in combination of that). Pay attention to how the wording changes from draft to draft. Remember that words and also unspoken words (your thoughts!) are energy, too. If you want a positive result try to use positive affirmations in your release. Don't ever give up! Everything is as it should be. Trust that the Universe has your back.
